Abstract
|
|
|
Purpose : It tries to understand the meaning of experienced life of middle aged men to provide basic data for healthy and happy lives in old age.
Methods : It counseled 4 middle ged men aged between 46 to 58 in depth from March 2007 to June 2007. It used the phenomenological method that Giorgi suggested.
Results : It showed that they valued their families. They especially valued their wives. They thought that they needed to prepare their future. They hided or bluffed their physical, emotional and sexual changes at climacteric. They regretted their dreams in their youth.
Conclusion : It is required to study middle aged men who live alone without spouses. It is required to have nursing program that can help them to accept their physical, emotional and sexual changes naturally.
